This Made From Waste ceramics collection is designed by Sara Howard with Kevala – a Bali based ceramics studio – using locally sourced materials originally destined for landfill.
The waste materials used in the clay and glaze of this collection include glass from bottles collected in local river clean ups by Sungai Watch and construction waste, some of which comes from when we built NXT.
We use Made From Waste pieces in our staff Canteen restaurant and in our onsite cabins for overnight stays, 'The Wood Rooms'.
